Everest Marathon & Base Camp Trek

Get ready to tick off not one, but two bucket lists with the Everest Marathon & Base Camp Trek!

Eternal Peak combines a once in a lifetime bucket list trek to Everest Base Camp coordinating with the Worlds Highest Marathon event! The event starts at Everest Base Camp on May 29th and is all downhill (well almost) to the finish line at Namche Bazaar 42km later.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

A profoundly life changing experience for one. Spending almost 3 weeks surrounded by the Himalaya, whilst emersed in the Nepalese culture, changes you. Guaranteed.

You'll arrive on your International flight into Kathmandu and check into a 5 star hotel located in the Thamel district.  Once you are settled, you'll enjoy a traditional welcome dinner after visiting the cities UNESCO World Heritage Cultural Sites. The excitement builds when we go through the trek briefing and prepare to fly to Lukla where we offically start the trek towards Everest Base Camp.

The trek to Base Camp takes 12 days with rest days along the way to help acclimatise. Once we arrive at our Everest Base Camp oasis, the Eternal Peak group will be treated to their own private chef, dinning dome and summit expedition grade twin share tents. 

You'll sleep two nights at Base Camp which isn't part of the usual tourist Everest Base Camp trek offering. This is an incredible experience and one that only those summitting Mt Everest, or running the Everest Marathon, get to experience.  

Once you complete the event, you'll be back in the village of Namche Bazaar and will have two days trek back to Lukla before kicking your feet up at the celebratory party.

You'll then fly back to Kathmandu for the night and some last minute shiopping and connect with your International flight home the following day.
